Why this exists
Most hospital bag lists are long pages of tick boxes surrounded by shopping links. They don’t tell you whether an item is bought but still in a drawer, whether your hospital already provides it, or what you still need to grab on the way out. We built a checklist that keeps those things apart.

- Honest about limits. This is a planning aid, not medical advice. Ask your care team and your hospital.
- Sourced. The default list was checked against public hospital and health sources listed on our methodology page.
Who reviews the content
Our content team reviews the checklist and guides against the public sources we cite. It has not been reviewed by a doctor, and we say so wherever it matters.
