How to use this baby registry checklist
Start with the categories that matter first: a car seat for the ride home, a safe place to sleep, feeding supplies and diapering. Mark what you already have, what someone has promised to give you and what you still need. Promised items stay separate from items you own, so nothing is counted twice.
Safety items
For car seats and sleep spaces, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and current guidance from sources such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and NHTSA. Our methodology page lists the sources we used.
FAQ
How is this different from the hospital bag list?
The registry checklist covers what you may want at home for the first months. Items shared with the hospital bag are linked, so a car seat is not counted twice.
Do I need everything on the list?
No. Turn off anything that does not fit your plans. The list is a starting point, not a shopping requirement.
Where is my list saved?
On this device, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you sign in and turn on sync. You can export a JSON backup at any time.
Is it free? Are there refunds?
This site is free and charges nothing, so there are no refunds. There are no ads, affiliate links or paid upgrades.
